The Crawford Lab Annual Fishing Trip - 2000

GOAL: To catch as many Fundulus heteroclitus (our main research organism) in as many states as possible, in as little time as possible, between Maine and Georgia along the Atlantic coast.

First Stop: the GA coast, right where you catch the ferry to Sapelo Island.

Before any hard work had occurred...waiting for the tide to go out...
Boy, this is easy!! (little does Kevin know...)

When we were all finished, we were tired, muddy, and hungry!!

Doug- Don't take my picture now!!

Kevin- If I could just get these stupid boots off...

Lynn- I feel so gross, it's kinda funny.

Next stop (with pictures): Stone Harbor, NJ
This is where we had a day off to rest...

The view of the sunset from tower of the Wetlands Institute, where we stayed for 2 delightful nights.

Last stop: Cherwonky Campground, Wiscasset, ME!

By far the best scenery!! A beautiful, warm, October morning.
